本科论文AbstractWith the development and reform of children's education in China,theapplication of multimedia technology in English teaching has become adevelopment trend of teaching.Multimedia-assisted children's English teachinghas become a popular topic.The emergence of multimedia technology has madeup the disadvantages of many traditional teachings.It also brought a lot ofconvenience for teachers and students and accelerated our country's educationalmodernization process.It has deeply accepted by teachers,students and parents.However,there are still many problems in the process of usingmultimedia-assisted English teaching for children.Nowadays,a large number ofscholars have studied on how to use multimedia technology more scientificallyand reasonably to teach English for children.But it still needs to be furtherdiscussed.This paper investigates the current situation and background ofmultimedia-assisted English teaching for children.The following problems werefound,which include the children's English teachers lack the advanced conceptand basic skills of multimedia-assisted teaching;children's English teachersoverly concern on using multimedia to teach English for children and ignore theemotional communication between teachers and students;the main content ofmultimedia teaching courseware is not prominent enough.In view of the aboveproblems,this paper puts forward the corresponding solutions.The purpose ofthis study is to improve the efficiency of multimedia-assisted English teachingfor children,so that multimedia technology can be more scientifically andrationally used in English teaching for children,and give full play to itsadvantages.Key words:multimedia;multimedia-assisted teaching;children English
