AbstractCentrifugal compressor impeller machining is the most common instances of multi-axislinkage nc machining,it is also one of the difficulties in nc machining.This paper introduces indetail the whole process of the impeller machining and processing process matters needingattention,for complex product modeling and nc programming provides design ideas andmethods.Main work includes the following aspects:(1)In this paper,according to the actual production situation and the demand of research,using UG8.0 software for the analysis of the impeller.Through processing module cavity milling,variable contour milling,processing method of impeller impeller model of programming,simulation process and post-processing.(2)Adjacent integral impeller blade less space,with the decrease of the radius on theradial channels such as narrow processing difficulties,so the impeller blade curved surfacemachining besides interference occurs between the cutter and the processing blade,cutting toolis interference with the adjacent blades.(3)Tool planning constraints,automatic generation of tool path is more difficult problems,combined with practical experience,has carried on the processing technology research,identifiedby Swiss m kronor company Hyde han system five axis machining center as an impellermachining equipment,tool path using "since the surface contour"way.Key words:Integral impeller;UG;The processing technology、2
