Based on STM32 dot matrix electronic displayAbstractNowadays,the development of social technology and science and technology is changingwith each passing day.LED dot matrix display screen is widely used in various publicoccasions.For example,in the display of national defense industry and national defensesystem,in the display of vehicle information in shopping malls,subways,school areas,urbantransportation platforms and other transportation industries,in the real-time monitoring andnotification applications in factories and other industries,and in most industries,we can seethe existence of lattice LED display screen.This design is based on the design of STM32 dot matrix electronic display.Thesingle-chip microcomputer used is stm32f103c8t6.The development process of single-chipmicrocomputer controlling LED dot matrix electronic display screen is mainly introduced.The single chip microcomputer controls four 74HC595 shift registers by CPU to drive thedisplay light on.Two 74HC595 are used as column drivers and the other two 74HC595 areused as row drivers.The specific display is represented by two situations,one is static display,such as static graphics or Chinese,the other is dynamic mode,the effect is to realize thescrolling mode of text moving,left moving or right moving.This paper will introduce thedesign idea,the function of each part of the module,the use principle and description indetail.The reason why LED display screen is so widely used in the society is that it has manyadvantages,such as simple combination and separation,strong compatibility,low energyconsumption,being able to survive in a bad environment,under the cost,etc.,which makesLED display screen widely used in sports places,transportation hub,government agencies,markets,companies,and various entertainment places.This phenomenon,which is widelyused,reflects the long life and strong compression resistance of LED lamp.The software part of this design is edited by C language in keil software.The anode andcathode ports in the lattice screen are controlled by the program,and then the conduction andcut-off of each display point can be controlled.The displayed lattice data can be written bycalculation,but due to the huge workload,the word touch software is generally used to exportthe data.Keywords:STM32F103 single chip microcomputer;LED;lattice display;dynamic display.
