ABSTRACTThe main research content of this project is the underground electric drilling tool reducer.The downhole electric drilling tool reducer is a deceleration and torque increasing devicesuitable for the oil and gas industry,connecting the electric motor and the drill bit.Thisproject mainly uses the NGW planetary gear reduction mechanism as the main structure,which effectively achieves the function of reducing speed and increasing torque in theseverely limited radial size environment underground.The design of this reducer alleviatesthe drawbacks of high motor speed and low torque,providing a feasible solution for theunderground operation of electric drilling tools.This article presents the systematic design and calculation of underground electricdrilling tool reducers.By using reducers,downhole drilling tools can be matched with highspeed motors,resulting in lower requirements for power devices,wider applicability,andbetter economy.However,there are also problems with larger radial dimensions of reducersand difficulty in drilling small holes.This project utilizes the NGW planetary structure tosignificantly reduce the radial size,further improving the applicability of underground electricdrilling tools.This article systematically designs and calculates the underground electric drilling toolreducer through several aspects such as scheme selection,gear design,reducer structuredesign,economic analysis,and finite element analysis of important parts.The design andverification of gears and shafts are the key content of this reducer,and it is also the key to thereducer's ability to transmit large torque.Key words:NGW;retarder;Downhole drilling tools;Torque;gear
