AbstractThe main function of the upper half of the front bearing seat is to maintain the position ofthe bearing,as a support for the load,to prevent external material from invading the bearing,and to provide a structure that will maintain the good lubrication of the bearing.Castingsimulation technology has been widely used in practical production,and plays a huge role in thedevelopment and trial production of new products,the process optimization of old products andthe realization of low-cost quality control.The research casting process can eliminate thecasting defects,ensure the strength and toughness of the upper half of the front bearing seat,make the casting play a role in the overall mechanical structure,and ensure the safety,andprovide research ideas for the workpiece casting with similar characteristics in the future.According to the characteristics of the parts combined with the casting process parameters,the use of the professional knowledge learned,after a detailed process analysis.A completesand casting process scheme is designed,which mainly includes the selection of processparameters,casting system calculation and simulation analysis of the casting sand castingprocess.The software designs the 3 d drawing of the casting and the reasonable pouring outlet,and optimizes the casting process scheme,which makes the designed sand casting processscheme practical and feasible.Finally,according to the process diagram,the template drawing,shape drawing and core box diagram are designed,then the casting assembly drawing is drawn,and finally the design manual is prepared.Through the theoretical analysis and design analysis of this paper,it provides a feasibleprocess scheme and a perfect design process for the development of similar parts,which hascertain promotion significance.Key Words:Sand casting;Casting process design;Procast simulation
