Abstract3D printing technology is a rapid prototyping technology.which has entered astage of rapid development during the past few years.The world has made a greatprogress and has relatively mature technology about 3D printing so far.In theproduction of a single part,the speed of completing work and the advantages ofinclusiveness of parts are far from the traditional production mode.The content of thisarticle is about a three-axis parallel arm 3D printer which is designed by my term.Itsworking principle is FDM.Through this learning experience,I hope that I can beginto have some insight into 3D printing technology,learning about digital production sothat I have technique to deal with the problem about 3D printing industry which maycome up when I go into work in the future.The structure design of the printer is the basis for the normal operation of theprinter,the frame is the basis for the construction of various mechanisms,and thereasonable allocation of the positions of various mechanisms is the guarantee for thesmooth operation of the printer.In this group,the author is responsible for thestructural design,and the main work is the analysis of the freedom of the motionmechanism,the design of the frame,the design and check of the size of theconnecting rod,the design and life estimation of the conveyor belt,etc.In terms of structure selection,there are two main types of 3D printers,gantrytype and parallel type.The design USES parallel structure,which is also called deltastructure,still follow the cartesian coordinate system principle,its active parts do notdirectly drive the workbench.The motion in the three directions of moving platformXYZ is mapped to the motion in the direction of sliding block Z on the side edge bytrigonometric function.In this way,the load of the three axes is the same as themovement speed,so there will be fewer problems in the matching and the machiningaccuracy will be higher.However,as it relies on the mechanical arm to control themoving platform indirectly,it will be weak to bear the load brought by the nozzle.The gantry type is the XYZ structure type,and its active parts are respectively on theXYZ triaxial,and the processing in the Z direction depends on the hotbed movingalong the Z direction.The processing of XY direction depends on the movingprocessing of nozzle.This style structure is simple,easy to control,but due to the loadof the three axis,the choice of the transmission mode will be different,which willlead to difficult synchronization,if the nozzle weight is too large,the accuracy andspeed of processing will be reduced.In addition,the main influence on the printing effect is the diameter of the nozzle,
