本科论文AbstractSmall open-pit quarry is the pillar industry of China's mining industry,which occupies alarge proportion.As early as the early days of the people's Republic of China,it has been paidattention by the state as an important plan for the national strategic development.With thecontinuous progress of science and technology,the quarrying technology has also undergonetremendous changes.From the original manual blasting,manual excavation to the currentmechanical blasting,accurate calculation,and scientific and technological mining,it is astrong witness of China's development from backwardness to prosperity.Small scale,backward technology,neglect of safety protection and other issues havebeen the problems of the widely distributed small open-pit quarries,which has been animportant area of frequent accidents.Firstly,this paper analyzes the location and surroundingenvironment of small-scale open-pit quarry,and observes whether the geology andsurrounding facilities affect the quarry work.Secondly,the main types of accidents that mayoccur and the related causes of accidents are analyzed,including fire,electric shock,mechanical injury,vehicle damage,etc.;at the same time,the development status andcharacteristics of the safety assessment of small open-pit quarry are discussed,and then thedangerous and harmful factors in the quarry are identified.Then,it briefly introduces thedivision of evaluation units and the selection of evaluation methods,and carries outquantitative and qualitative evaluation in detail according to the relevant work methods andkey points.Finally,it puts forward effective prevention and solution measures for the possibleaccidents to avoid the dangerous accidents again.It is of great significance to evaluate the safety of quarries,which can not only avoid thehuge economic losses suffered by enterprises and countries,but also affect the safety ofthousands of labor workers;reduce the risk of quarrying operations to the minimum,at thesame time,it also has a positive international impact on foreign enterprises'investment inChina.Key words:Small open-pit quarry:dangerous and harmful factors;evaluation unit;safetytechnical measures
