ABSTRACTThe image of mother is an important branch of female image.In Chinese classical culture,itis often involved that mother,as the person who is most closely related to her children,naturallyhas educational functions The Scholars inherited and improved the image of mother in Chineseclassical culture,which can be divided into three different types:first,the virtuous mother whounderstands the great sense of justice is characterized by intelligence,courtesy,unique vision andcorrect education,which provides benign and just right help for the growth of children;Second,the foolish mother with lack of ability is characterized by the limitation of personal thinking andcognition,which can not bear the teaching duty of mother well;Third,the strict mother of thegodson is characterized by the fact that although he has certain knowledge and educational ideas,the excessively strict educational behavior in education is characterized by utilitarianism Thecharacteristics of the three types of mothers have a profound impact on their children's path,which provides reference and enlightenment for contemporary mothers to build a benign familyrelationship in family.Key words:The Scholars;Mother;Contemporary family education
