本科论文AbstractBecause of the materials and methods used in English teaching of primaryschool students in our country are generally boring and unitary,leading to thephenomenon that primary school students lose interest in English learning,as well aspoor reading ability and other problems.So we should choose more interestingEnglish learning materials and methods.For example,learning from foreign gradedEnglish readings used in the teaching process.What is the standard of English gradedreading?What is the teaching mode of graded reading?And how to use gradedreading materials as extensive reading materials for extracurricular students?English graded reading materials are classified according to the principles ofsimple to complex and low to high by language control of vocabulary,grammar,sentence structure and content.They are not only in line with readers'physiology,butalso in accordance with readers'psychological development law with illustrations.Graded reading materials promote the development of children's reading literacythrough its systematic,scientific and targeted features.The purpose of this paper is to discuss the auxiliary role of English gradedreading materials in primary school English teaching,especially for primary schoolstudents'reading ability by comparing the application of graded reading materials inprimary school English teaching between China and the west,such as:the currentsituation of graded reading materials application;obstacles in the application process;and curriculum standards And the influence of writing ability.Key Words:graded reading materials;application;primary school English;Englishreading
