本科论文AbstractEnglish is a common language in the world.People are exposed to Englishfrequently in our daily life.In children's learning,3-6 years old is the goldenperiod of children's language learning,the teacher should excavate and developchildren's listening and speaking ability.Children have unique characteristics,teachers need to come up with more interesting methods in language learning tohelp children to understand and learn,to establish children's interest points,stimulate children's learning motivation.In oral teaching,situational approachcan be used to help children to understand and learn the language environment.On the basis of the research literature,the author knows the concept ofsituational approach,analyze and summarize the problems existing in traditionalchildren's oral English classroom,and put forward the application of situationalapproach in children's oral English classroom to explore the concrete applicationof situational approach.Teachers pay attention to the authenticity and flexibilityof oral English,so that the theory fully combined with practice to create a richand colorful situation,so as to improve the development level of children's oralEnglish,exercise flexible thinking and creative ability,and provide reference forchildren's oral English teaching.The paper is divided into four chapters totally.The first chapter is anoverview of situational approach.This paper introduces the concept ofsituational approach and expounds the significance of situational approach inEnglish teaching.The second chapter is current situation of children's oralEnglish.In the classroom teaching of children's oral English,oral dialogue is notpractical and formal,and the communication between teachers and students isless interactive.The third chapter is the application of situational approach inclassroom.Teachers can make up the dialogue based on the actual situation,andcreate the situation by using multimedia,games and stories,so as to create theatmosphere and attract the children's interest.The fourth chapter is problemsand solutions in children's oral classroom.Key Words:Situational approach;Children's Oral English;Learning Interest
