本科论文AbstractListening teaching is an integral part of English teaching,as well as themost difficult point in senior high School English teaching.With the sustainabledevelopment and effective improvement of English teaching research,there is aninvestigation about the present situation of English listening teaching in seniorhigh school and finds that listening teaching pays much attention to languageforms and neglects to grasp the actual contents of listening materials.Manystudents want to improve their English listening,which requires them to graspthe indirect speech acts theory accurately.Speech act theory is an indispensabletheory in pragmatics theory,which has gone through more than half a centurysince it was produced.Indirect speech act means that the speaker does notdirectly express his own thoughts,but need the listener use reasoning andjudgment to understand the speaker's implication.This thesis adopts the method which is combining theory with practice.It iswell known that in addition to teachers'external factors,students'own factorsare also very important to the teaching effect.To make teaching efficiently,it isessential for English teachers to study how to combine the indirect speech acttheory with English listening teaching as well as vital to reach conclusions aboutthe relationship between the indirect speech act theory and English listeningteaching in senior high school.This thesis defines the students of high schools as the research objects,narrows down the scope of research,knows the learning level and characteristicsof the students in this period.The application of indirect speech act makes theteaching method more close to the students'learning needs,so as to achievebetter teaching effect and improve students'listening ability.From above,theauthor expect that the thesis can have some reference significance for Englishlistening teaching in the future.Keywords:indirect speech acts;listening teaching;senior high school English
