毕业论文〔设计)1.IntroductionAs English becomes more and more accepted as an international language,it isincreasingly emphasized in primary curricalum by our government.However,manyprimary school English teaching methods are still under exploration.In primary schools nowadays,children are active,lively,but impatient.Theylike learning new things in a special ways and like tasting fresh things.Ateacher-centered class is a traditional one that has been influenced by theexamination-oriented traditional system for a long period.In traditional teaching class,the following steps are often engaged:1)learn thealphabet;2)pronounce the letters 3)read a word 4)form sentences.Or the teacherexplain every language point in detail,while students take notes all the time.Theteacher often emphasizes the importance of grammar and gives so many definitions,rules and explanations to students.They completely ignore the nature of the childrenand fail to develop and cultivate children's ability of communicative competence.Theclassroom activities that the students do most are just listening and taking notes.It isjust like teachers pouring water into a container.Children are filled with hash sentencestructures,vocabulary and grammar mechanically.What they gain are dead words andstructures.They can't use them in communication and they find no intetest in learningEnglish.When they find no interest in class,they may get bored and do their ownthings.Traditional teaching method can not arouse their interest and enthusiasm in class.2
