The productive technology of 100,000 tons n-butyl alcohol per yearAbstractN-butyl alcohol (CH3CH2CH2CH2OH)is a colorless,transparent,wine smell ofimportant organic chemical raw materials,involving every aspect of life,is a variety ofcoating solvent dimethyl phthalate plasticizer and important raw materials,also used in themanufacture of butyl acetate,butyl acrylate and ethylene glycol butyl ether as well asintermediates in organic synthesis,and biological aspects such as the extraction solvent ofchemical medicine also has a relatively good application,and also used in the manufacture ofsurfactant.After the detailed comparison of several production processes of n-butyl alcohol in thisdesign,the synthesis process of low-pressure carbonyl group was adopted.The synthesisprocess of n-butyl alcohol was carried out by taking syngas and propylene as raw materials,using the catalyst of triphenylphosphine rhodium to synthesize n-butyraldehyde,then refiningthe crude n-butyraldehyde,hydrogenation to prepare n-butyl alcohol,and the design of theproduction process of n-butyi alcohol was developed.According to the requirements of theproject design annual output,the material balance,energy balance and equipment selectionare mainly calculated in the design,and the basic parameters of the workshop and equipmentare obtained.At the same time,the three wastes produced in the production process ofn-butanol were also briefly treated.The safety of n-butanol unit was analyzed simply.ThePID diagram,PFD diagram,key equipment diagram and workshop layout diagram are drawn.Keywords:N-butyl alcohol;Triphenylphosphine rhodium;Synthesis of low pressurecarbonyl group;Material balance;Equipment selection
