AbstractLin Guang (1439-1519),born in Dongguan,Guangdong Province,was a scholarin Ming Dynasty.The collected works are huiweng Xueyan (now lost)and bingtiaocollection of Nanchuan.He wrote 140019 poems in his life.His poems have a widerange of themes,and the poems of chanting things with emotion as the core are ofgreat characteristics.These poems express the poet's noble sentiment,or express hissorrow and anger,or express the poet's life ideal or dissatisfaction with the reality,or satirize the ugly human nature or phenomenon in the society,or simply expressthe poet's likes and interests,and chant the beauty of things.His poems of chantingthings use a variety of expressive techniques,such as expressing one's wishes bymeans of things,expressing one's feelings by means of things,or using vivid bodylanguage or quatrains to chant things.It expresses the author's rich thoughts andfeelings.In his poems of chanting things,the author often uses metaphor,personification and symbolism to make things more vivid and express feelings moreincisively and vividly.Key words:Lin Guang yong's poems Seek truth from facts
