Discussion on Market ResearchAbstract In this paper,we discuss the problem of market survey,investigate the consumer'sunderstanding and response to a new product,find out the optimal solution of survey cost according tothe constraints given by the company,and the impact of relevant data changes on the optimal solution indealing with practical problems.According to the conditions given by the title:a total of 500 familieswere investigated,at least 200 families with and without children were investigated respectively,at least300 families with questionnaire survey,at least 50%and 60%of families with and without childrenwere investigated respectively,the cost of family questionnaire survey with and without children was50,40,and the cost of oral survey was 30,25 respectively.By setting the number of families investigatedin different ways as decision variables,the linear programming model can get clear objective functionsand constraints,and the optimal value can be 18500 by using LINGO software.In practice,the changeof relevant data may affect the optimal solution.If the cost,quantity and proportion of the investigatedhouseholds change,lingo sensitivity analysis shows that the optimal basis remains unchanged when itchanges within a certain range of increase and decrease.The optimal solution can be obtained by theoptimal basis.If these factors change beyond the appropriate increasing and decreasing range,it isnecessary to re model and solve them.Finally,the influence of multiple data changes on the optimalsolution is added.If the cost and quantity of the investigated family change within the allowable rangeof increase and decrease and the 100%rule is satisfied,the corresponding optimal solution and dualprice remain unchanged.If the 100%rule is not satisfied,as long as it increases or decreases in the sameproportion,the optimal solution may not change.Key words market research,linear programming model,optimal solution
