AbstractIntelligent obstacle avoidance is an important function of intelligent robot.Inorder to avoid obstacles,we often use light wave ranging and ultrasonic ranging.Inthe design of this paper,ultrasonic ranging is used.When the intelligent obstacleavoidance device designed in this paper works,the CPU gives a driving signal,theultrasonic sensor will send out sound waves,the sound waves will be reflected backafter encountering obstacles,and then the sensor receives the rebound signal,andtransmits the reflected signal to the CPU.The CPU can calculate the distance from theobstacles by processing the reflected signal through the program in the transmitterInformation,the CPU is sending some control signals to the robot to avoid obstacles.The main controller of the intelligent robot obstacle avoidance system designed in thispaper is 51 single-chip microcomputer.The ultrasonic transmitting and receivingmodule is used to send and collect signals.When the robot encounters obstacles,itwill send out an alarm.There is also an alarm system module.The obstacle avoidancesystem designed in this paper is applied to the driving system of the robot.In additioninfrared photoelectric and ultrasonic sensors are used to monitor the operation statusof the robot and the surrounding environment in real time,and the relevantinformation is sent to 51 single chip microcomputer for processing.The circuitstructure of the designed system is simple and easy to maintain,which has certainapplication reference value.Key words:microcontroller;ultrasonic;robot;relevant program design
