Application of borescope technology in aircraft enginesABSTRACTAircraft power plant is the foundation of aircraft to take off,so the safety of aircraft enginesis the key to aircraft safety.With the development of technology,aircraft engine inspection toolsand equipment and methods become diversified.At present,the aviation industry has chosen touse borehole technology to detect engine damage,which significantly improves the efficiencyand portability of engine inspection.The technology can detect the internal damage of thestarting motor without disassembling the engine,so as to avoid unnecessary damage to thecomplicated and expensive aircraft engines.This paper can be divided into eight chapters.The first chapter mainly expounds thebackground and significance of the paper,and understands the principle and development courseof the technique.The second chapter mainly expounds the working principle and structuralcharacteristics of civil TURBOFAN Engine.The third chapter,four,five,mainly based on thesecond chapter,analyzes the common engine core structure damage,understand how to apply inaircraft engine borescope technology at the core of the structure,and with China southernairlines commonly used models of the borescope work for example analysis how the borescopetechnology to detect the aircraft engine internal damage;The sixth chapter describes theindispensable steps before and after the work of borehole exploration--the dismantling of theplug,the seventh chapter mainly describes the shortcomings of the borehole explorationequipment and the future development direction,the eighth chapter summarizes the full text.Key words:Borescope inspection Aircraft engine Core structure Internal damageII
