AbstractAt present,the car has become an important traffic tool in people's lives.In orderto control automobile exhaust pollution,protect human survival environment,countries around the world have taken stringent vehicle emission standards,developed for the automobile pollution of technical measures and control measures,the gasoline engine three-way catalytic conversion technology is currently the largestapplication of purification technology.The basic structure of the three-way catalyticconverter and its working principle were briefly introduced,the aging mechanism ofand three-way catalytic converter,of three-way catalyst deactivation mechanismfurther elaboration.Using FLUENT software,according to rapid aging conditions issolved,through numerical simulation,the three-way catalytic converter temperaturefield and oxygen concentration field distribution is obtained,and the results show thataging time on aging has a greater impact,characteristics of three-way catalyticconverter conversion efficiency rate decreased with the increasing of aging time andduring the early aging decreased sharply,with the aging time increased featureconversion efficiency decreased slowly.The three-way catalytic converter ignitiontemperature compared before aging to about 60 DEG C,ignition performancedeterioration,caused by low speed when emissions of a substantial increase in.Keywords:The three way catalytic converter;aging;reaction mechanism;numericalsimulation
