AbstractW18Cr4V steel is a common material for making cold working dies and cuttingtools.Generally,the cast W18Cr4V steel structure contains a large amountof eutectic carbides with uneven distribution.Forging or rollingtreatment can make eutectic carbides crumble,but it will not change thesituation of uneven distribution of carbides too much.In order to improvethe uneven distribution of carbide,necessary heat treatment processessuch as annealing,quenching and tempering should be carried out forW18Cr4V steel in production and life,which will greatly improve theservice life of W18Cr4V steel products.In this paper,the compositionand microstructure of W18Cr4V steel are analyzed in detail,and theannealing process,quenching process and tempering process of W18Cr4Vsteel are described.The heat treatment experiment of W18Cr4V steel wasdesigned,and the microstructure and mechanical properties of W18Cr4Vsteel after annealing,after quenching,after one tempering,after twotempering and after three tempering were studied and analyzed.This paper is the milling kit process analysis,CNC programming andcomplete processing,mainly using the knowledge of the parts of theprocess analysis,the development of the process route,determine theprocess plan.And the use of UG software modeling and automaticprogramming,the final completion of parts processing.The paper showsthat:through the process analysis,modeling and processing of this part,the whole process of parts manufacturing is deeply understood,and theparts also meet the processing requirements after the processing iscompleted.Modeling,trajectory and G code generation is also made in themost concise way,to achieve the desired requirements.Keywords:W18Cr4V,quenching process,structure,performance;Technologyanalysis、2
