AbstractWith the development of electronic information technology and the increasingpopularity of the Internet,frequency measurement has irreplaceable authorship in all areasof production and life.Most of the frequency measurement devices on the market aremostly composed of logic circuits in the timer.The operation efficiency is relatively slow andthe structure is relatively complex.It can no longer meet the requirements of the currentindustry for the counting equipment.Based on this,this paper discusses a microcontrollerbased on Frequency meter.The frequency meter is designed based on the professional knowledge learned in theuniversity for four years.STC89C52 is selected as the control module of this system.Clanguage is used in software design,and the frequency signal is transmitted to the singlechip microcomputer through the design of the peripheral circuit.Intelligent control wasperformed and simulation and debugging were performed after the design was completed.The digital frequency meter designed in this article can be widely used in all walks of life.Through this design,I have further personnel and understanding of the microcontroller andprogramming,laying the foundation for future teaching work.The frequency counter of the one-chip computer has the advantages of fast speed,highaccuracy,etc.,and the used area is relatively wide,the cost that needs to be used is not high,and it is light and flexible and easy to carry.Can also measure the signal within its own range.The design is based on the microcontroller control circuit,equipped with a certain numberof peripheral chips and circuits,and the use of high-frequency instrument for digital signalprocessing.The measurement range can reach 1Hz ~20MHz,it is unique in that it can usetwo methods to measure the frequency.And on the basis of the frequency meter of theone-chip computer can carry on the automatic frequency division.In the case of low cost,the height measurement on the signal frequency was successfully completed..Key words
