北京理工大学珠海学院2020届本科生毕业设计Design and production of 3D animation "Smart is around"-Character modeling and animationAbstract3D animation is a new type of animation that is developed after the traditional 2Danimation.3D animation technology makes it a useful tool by simulating objects in real life.With the help of the modern computer platform,it has realized another great leap forward inthe form of animation production.Due to its technical accuracy,authenticity and unlimitedoperability,it is currently widely used in many fields such as entertainment,education,medicine and so on.For example,3D animation can be used for special effects production,special effects,display of advertising products,etc.in advertising films and movies and TVseries.As 3D animation has become more and more popular among modern people,ourresearch this time also designed and produced a short 3D animation video based on thecurrent hot topic "Smart Age",so that people can understand how intelligent our future life isin this new way.This project aims to use the Maya animation rendering engine to realize a 3D animationmovie related to the intelligent era.In order to better produce this three-dimensionalanimation short film,we need to study the characteristics of the intelligent era in depth.Interms of Maya engine production,explore the animation expressions used to make theanimation more coherent and distinctive.This article first analyzes and explains the technology used in the production ofanimation and its feasibility,and then describes in detail the construction of animatedcharacters from aspects such as the basic model production of the character,the model textureproduction of the character,the model binding production of the character,and the character'sanimation production.And focuses on the specific production process of animation.Keywords:3D animation,Maya engine,character,intelligence
