本科论文AbstractEnglish is becoming increasingly important as the world's universallanguage.In China,the emphasis on English education is also graduallyincreasing,with the English curriculum starting at the third grade of primaryschool.But nowadays,English education is showing a trend of younger age andpreschool English education has received more and more attention.It hasgradually become a hot topic.Vocabulary is an important foundation.Foryounger beginners,learning vocabulary is very important.However,in theteaching of vocabulary,the teaching effect is still not obvious.The game teaching method is a method that incorporates games as ateaching form into the classes.Teachers use this method in the classroom toenable students to learn easily in the game.According to the characteristics ofchildren's physical and mental development,the game teaching method caneffectively stimulate children's interest in English learning and strengthenchildren's memory of vocabulary.The main research object of this paper is English language learners in thepreschool stage,and it focuses on the specific application of the game teachingmethod in children's English vocabulary teaching.Based on the theories relatedto games and game teaching method,this paper draws on researches in the fieldof English teaching for young children and combines the characteristics ofchildren's physical and mental development,the characteristics of childrenlearning English and the features of young children's vocabulary development.In addition,this paper focuses on the analysis of game cases in each step ofvocabulary teaching.The author summarizes the problems in the exertion ofgame teaching in English vocabulary teaching from three aspects and putsforward suggestions for the problems in the last part of the paper.Keywords:game teaching method;children's English;vocabulary teaching
