本科论文AbstractAs the universal language in the world,English is more and more valued byChinese people.Nowadays,parents are also beginning to realize the importanceof learning English for children.Children's English education has become a hottrend in recent years.First of all,learning English for children is an essentialskill in modern social life.If we can speak English,we will expand our socialactivities to the whole world.It is easy to see that English become a necessaryskill in modern society.Secondly,learning English for children is thecornerstone of quality education.With the reform and development of thecountry's primary and secondary education,the public education system hasoffers English classes from the third grade of primary school,and the privateeducation system provides English education from kindergarten.In addition,there are numerous pre-school English education institutions.This is enough toshow that the country and society are attaching more and more importance toEnglish education.The most important thing in children's English learning is the interest andmethods of learning.As one of the most advanced teaching methods in recentyears,scaffolding teaching method has been gradually applied in Englishteaching.However,the application of scaffolding teaching method in children'sEnglish classroom is immature.In this context,this paper will in the first ofplace analyze the current situation of the use of scaffolding teaching method.Secondly,teachers will adopt three kinds of scaffolds namely tool scaffold,game scaffold and example scaffold in class.Thirdly,both advantages anddisadvantages of the three scaffolds will be summarized through the teacher'sapplication of the above three scaffolds.Finally,this paper will proposecorresponding suggestions to improve the application of scaffolding teachingmethod in children's English.Through the proper application of scaffoldingteaching method in children's English,students'interest in learning will beconstantly raised,which lays a solid foundation for their future English learning.Keywords:scaffolding teaching method;children;English class
