Analysis on Financial Motivation of Enterprise Merger andAcquisition-Taking Alibaba's Acquisition of AutoNavi as anExampleAbstract:Enterprise acquisition refers to the acquisition of another enterprise by oneenterprise through the purchase of stocks or other means,which is called enterprise acquisition.Enterprise acquisition is also one of the ways of enterprise merger in China,which can notonly enable an enterprise to survive,but also help the acquisition enterprise to expand its scale.The acquisition of enterprises can bring economies of scale effect,enterprises can adjust andsupplement the assets of enterprises through merger and acquisition,to achieve the besteconomic scale.Merger and acquisition can also bring power effect to the market,which cancontrol the key channels through merger and acquisition and control the competitive activitiesof rivals.The market share can be improved by improving the entry threshold anddifferentiation advantage of the enterprise in the field.With the reduction of competitors toimprove their own market share.Finally,an enterprise's trademark and reputation areintangible assets to an enterprise,which can be used to solve some external problems whenfacing external problems.This paper will study Alibaba's acquisition of AutoNavi map as anexample to analyze the financial problems and financial risks between mergers andacquisitions.Keywords:enterprise Financial risk Mergers and acquisitions alibabaii
