Design of production process for 100,000 tons of Bisphenol a perAbstractChina is one of the major consuming countries of BISPHENOL A.In recent years,although bisphenol a (BPA)has been developing in China,the gap between supply anddemand of BPA market still exists.In order to meet the market demand of Bisphenol A,weneed to research and develop new catalysts and new technology of BISPHENOL A.This design through the analysis of different process routes,the final use of phenol andacetone as raw materials for the preparation of BISPHENOL A.The process is divided into 4stages:Reaction Stage,distillation stage,crystallization stage and flash stage.This process isthe most comprehensive and reasonable,become the main production processTo select a good production process block diagram,material balance,through the form ofa summary of different sections of the material balance.Then energy balance calculation,equipment selection and calculation,and then analyze the rationality of public works.Finally,Draw Pid,PDF,equipment and shop,plant layout.Keywords:BISPHENOL A:Phenol;Distillation;Material balance
