Study on the purification effect of photocatalytic couplingvertical flow constructed wetland on rural sewage underdifferent pollution loadsAbstract:Rural domestic sewage not only affects people 's life and health,but alsocauses certain pollution to rivers,reservoirs,lakes and groundwater.This papermainly aims at the problems of low efficiency and difficulty in centralized treatmentof domestic sewage in rural areas of China.Under the condition of late start of ruralwater pollution control technology,lack of stable financial support and reliabletreatment technology,the technology suitable for rural sewage treatment and acomplete set of sewage treatment equipment are developed.In order to improve thepurification effect of traditional wetland on sewage,this experiment preliminarilycouples photocatalytic technology with vertical flow constructed wetland.Thepurification effect of the reactor on domestic sewage under different pollution loadswas explored.Based on the traditional vertical flow constructed wetland andembedded with ultraviolet lamp,a photocatalytic coupling vertical flow constructedwetland reactor with a length width height of 40 30 50cm was constructed.Taking the domestic sewage of Southwest Forestry University as the simulation object,the treatment was carried out for 72 h.The results showed that when the influentwater pollution load was 107.5,the removal rates of COD,ammonia nitrogen and TPwere 40 %98 and 66 %respectively,and the effluent concentrations were 64 mg/L,0.2 mg /L and 0.32 mg /L,respectively.According to table 1,the above pollutantsin the effluent reached the first-level standard of discharge.The experimental resultsshow that the photocatalytic coupling vertical flow constructed wetland has the bestremoval effect on ammonia nitrogen in sewage,and has no obvious promotion effecton the removal of COD and TP.Keywords:photocatalysis;rural sewage pollution load
