New wind turbine design-speed change and protection devicedesignAbstractThe speed change and protection device is used to change the transmission ratio of theinput shaft and the output shaft to achieve the best output effect and the role of theprotection mechanism when the speed is too large.This paper gives a brief overviewof wind power generation,and analyzes and integrates the distribution of wind energyresources.The design of the NGW planetary gear with deceleration effect and thedesign and principle of the friction type electromagnetic clutch of the protectiondevice are described in conjunction with the prevailing urban and rural wind energyconditions.Keywords:Speed change and protection device;NGW planetary gear;frictionelectromagnetic clutch;design
