Portable structural seat designUndergraduate:Ma MaochuanSupervisor:Zhao YongxianAbstract:This paper studies and designs the portable seat.First of all,this paper analyzes the functional characteristics of portable seat,and studies the research status of portable furniture at home and abroad.This paper investigates the consumers of portablefurniture,and finds that the main concerns of consumers are whether the structure is stable,whether the shape is novel,and then whether the comfort.Only a specific groupof people will pay great attention to its portability,such as long-distance tourists.There are many kinds of portable seats on the market,but most of them are single,old-fashioned in shape,not strong enough and unreasonable in structure,so we should re research and re design the portable seats.In this paper,the overall design of the portable seat is carried out,and the relevant dimensions are studied and determined.The structural seat of this design can be composed of only a few frames,with simple structure,novel design and material saving.Thematerial is mainly alloy steel and plastic,which can be suitable for people between 1.30 and 2.10 m in height.It is necessary for home and travel no matter adults or children.In this paper,the main parts of the seat are analyzed and the strength is checked.Thechair foot is a hollow cylinder structure,and alloy steel can be used as material according to actual calculation and life.According to the calculation results,the allowable stress of the seat plate is about 0.72 MPa,which is the most suitable,and plastic can beused.The folding chair can bear the weight of 200kg.The armrest is designed as a detachable armrest,on which a detachable desk is installed.Key words:portable seat;Market Research;modeling design;strength check
