across the river,facing a variety of geographical and meteorological environments.When encountering natural and external environmental factors such as lightning,heavy rain,falling objects,snow,and hurricanes,overhead transmission lines maycause short-circuits,disconnection failures,and even tower collapse accidents,endangering the operation of the power system.When an overhead transmission linefails,the fault location and the cause of the fault should be quickly found,and thefault should be eliminated to quickly restore power to the user.Therefore,studyingthe online condition monitoring system of overhead transmission lines is of greatsignificance for timely detecting the abnormal operation of the line and improving thesafety and reliability of the power system.In this paper,the technology of lightning detection system for overheadtransmission line is studied,and the monitoring system is designed.Firstly,the paperanalyzes the basic discharge discharge method and introduces its basic theories,suchas frequency technology,transform full-cycle Fourier transform algorithm,multi-endstatistical ranging algorithm,etc.,as well as analysis of typical discharge events.Secondly,recording on overhead lines The situation is analyzed,and the recordingprocess of the line,the analysis of the characteristics of the recorded wavetransmission,and the basic principle of the fault location of the oscillating method areanalyzed.The reflection coefficient and the refractive index,the reflection at thebusbar,and the fault are transmitted in the transmission characteristics.The analysisof the reflection,the basic principle of fault location,the main technical problems offault location,the new single-ended recording fault location principle,the newmulti-end recording fault location principle,etc.;The signal problem is studied bywavelet transform and mathematical morphology.The results show that the wavelettransform has obvious effects on eliminating noise interference,fault line selectionand recording range.Finally,the lightning transmission monitoring system foroverhead transmission lines is designed and new.The modeling and simulation of therecorded wave ranging shows that the system has a good monitoring effect.The paper studies the monitoring technology of the existing overhead linelightning strikes.The engineering practice shows that the monitoring system has goodmonitoring effect,and it is hoped that the research in this paper can inspire thelightning strike monitoring technology of overhead transmission linesKeywords:overhead transmission line;lightning strike;recording;monitoring system;wavelet transform
