AbstractWith the rapid development of our country's power system business,the requirements for fault recorder are higher,and the functionalrequirements are higher.We need to be able to find out the fault locationmore quickly and accurately.Compared with the traditional fault recorder,we design a fault recorder that can greatly improve the performance,Therefore,this paper designs a fault recorder based on arm and DSP,whichcan be connected to the host computer for remote monitoring and analysis.This paper first introduces the current situation and application offault recorder at home and abroad.According to the current situation ofdomestic fault recorder and the comparison with domestic fault recorder,a dual chip fault recorder suitable for domestic use is designed.The DSPchip is used to collect data,which is collected and processed by thesampling circuit.The result is compared with the threshold value torealize fault identification.The control platform selects ARM processorto process the data from DSP,and finally transmits the data to the remotePC software for data analysis and real-time monitoring.Because this paperuses DSP and arm chips to work at the same time,in order to ensure thefast and effective data exchange between DSP data acquisition and armsystem,we use HPI technology to realize the command control andhigh-speed data communication between dual cores.Finally,the uppercomputer program is designed by using VB,which can be used for remotemonitoring and data analysis.Key words:fault recorder,DSP,host compute目录
