AbstractIn this paper,the design scheme of Nanning 110 kV substation is presented.Power network is the carrier of power transmission.Substation is the most importantpart of power network,and whether its stable operate or not directly affects theoperation efficiency of power system.Nanning is the capital of Guangxi and thefastest-growing city in Guangxi.The load density in the city also increases rapidly.Adding new substations to reduce the power supply radius of each substation caneffectively improve the quality of power consumption of users.Therefore,the schemedesign of 110kV substation for a specific area has practical significance.Through theanalysis of the original data of the substation,and through the reliability,flexibilityand economy analysis of the scheme and the corresponding load analysis andcalculation,the main electrical wiring scheme for the 110 KV substation is determined.According to the calculation of short-circuit current,the main equipment of 110 kVsubstation is selected.The main equipment is verified by short-circuit stability andthermal stability of electrical equipment.Finally,a scheme is provided for thelightning protection and relay protection configuration of the 110kV substation.Keywords:Electric main connection;Load Analysis;Short-circuit currentcalculation;Protection setting
