AbstractAn intelligent forest fire monitoring system is designed utilizing sensors and artificialintelligence algorithms for rapid identification,timely warning,and effective prevention andcontrol of forest fires.It has significant ecological protection and environmental safetysignificance.The system comprises master and slave devices.The slave device integratesvarious detection devices,and the master device integrates and displays the data detected bythe slave device.The data is uploaded to a mobile phone through the WiFi module for displayand management.The hardware we use for the slave includes Arduino microcontroller,SX1278 LoRa communication device,buzzer,DS18B20 temperature sensor,flame detector,relay controller,MQ2 smoke sensor,and MQ7 carbon monoxide detector.The master deviceincludes an Arduino microcontroller circuit,button control circuit,ESP8266 WiFicommunication circuit,SX1278 LoRa communication circuit,and OLED display circuit.Multiple tests demonstrate that the system has excellent detection performance andpracticality,which can assist forest managers in monitoring forest fire occurrences,thusavoiding waste of resources and missed detection.The system has significant practicalpromotion value.Key words:Forest fire monitoring:Arduino:LoRa:WiFi
