柬埔寨外商直接投资对其经济增长的研究

AbstractCambodia ended 30 years of civil war in May 1993.Since then,after hundreds of yearsof French colonial rule and internal strife,this small country at the southern tip of Indo-ChinaPeninsula has finally embarked on the road of peace and development.The domesticeconomic reform of Cambodia started in 1993,based on the "Washington Consensus"andcentering on the property rights system,especially the land stop property rights and the formerstate-owned industries,introduced a series of reform measures aimed at completeprivatization,hoping to realize the economic boom of Cambodia Village through thoroughprivatization.In recent years,it is well known that foreign direct investment has been one of the majorfactors in Cambodia's economic growth.At the same time,the volume of foreign directinvestment began to emerge and significantly sustained Cambodia's economic growth.Thestudy focused on determining the impact of foreign direct investment on Cambodia'seconomic growth.Based on the investigation of the current situation of foreign direct investment inCambodia,this paper analyzes the impact of foreign direct investment on four economicdevelopments of Cambodia:tourism development,population employment rate,infrastructuredevelopment and agricultural development.Finally,some suggestions are put forward topromote foreign direct investment in Cambodia.keywords:Cambodia;Foreign direct investment;Economic growth
