AbstractWith the improvement of intelligent industrial automation,the power supply ofenterprises is becoming more and more important compared with production.Efficient power supply can also save operation costs on the basis of ensuring normalproduction,and greatly improve the production efficiency of the whole factory.Thepower system design of this plant is based on the power supply and distribution of atextile plant,including the main wiring selection and design of substation,statisticalcalculation of plant power load,high voltage power supply and distribution linedesign in textile plant,short circuit calculation,distribution equipment selection,relayprotection,lightning protection and grounding design of distribution station.Usually,the compensation of reactive power needs to be taken into account in the powersystem design,which can improve the power supply efficiency of the whole powersystem,compensate the reactive power by using parallel capacitance in this design,and enhance the quality of power supply on the basis of reducing the power energyand voltage loss of the whole power supply and distribution system.Increase theflexibility and safety of the factory and enterprise's power supply and distributionperformance to a certain extent.Key words:power supply and distribution design;relay protection;reactivepower compensation;short-circuit current
