Abstractas a branch of Chinese nursery rhymes,Xiguan nursery rhymeshave passed on the cultural history of Guangzhou and Xiguan in awild,straightforward and unique language.The way of itstransmission is word of mouth,a small number of cultural outputis still wall painting.Rarely from the aesthetic or aestheticpoint of view of artistic creation,the relevant research hasshown a handful of status.In fact,as a kind of "primitive"folkart,Xiguan Nursery rhymes represent the traditional culture ofXiguan,especially the Cantonese part,which can highlight theunique charm of Cantonese and Xiguan.In this paper,we will learnabout the culture of Xiguan,the artistic value and charm ofXiguan nursery rhymes,and the traditional culture and history ofXiguan nursery rhymes.Summarize the creative elements ofGuangzhou traditional culture.The innovative design is to explorethe expressive form of Xiguan nursery rhymes by combining elementsof ink texture to create a new illustration series of Xiguannursery rhymes.First of all,to investigate the traditional artof Guangfu form of expression and artistic characteristics,as areference.Incorporating traditional Xiguan cultural elements intothe illustration design,the main design style is a combination ofthe appropriate tone and texture of the ink.It aims to expand theapplied research of non-material culture of Xiguan nursery rhymesin a more diversified direction,and increase the aesthetic charmof Xiguan nursery rhymes,so as to inherit the tradition and carryforward the classical significance of the times and historicalvalue.Keywords:Xiguan nursery rhymes,folk culture,ink texture,illustration
