AbstractIn early 2020,due to the sudden outbreak of COVID-19,the way that Ningderesidents buy sea cucumber changed.In order to understand the sales situation of seacucumber online and offline in Ningde,in this study,800 questionnaires wererandomly sent to residents in Ningde.The study began on March 1,2020,and lastedfor 30 days.A total of 500 reports were collected,of which 129 were valid.Thesurvey results found that consumers are mainly middle-aged men,and most of therespondents believe that the price of online sea cucumber is good,the after-salesservice is good,and it is a high-quality supplement to the relatives and elders.However,the survey also found that there are some problems in buying sea cucumberonline:1.Online consumers are more willing to purchase northern japonicus brands,such as Dalian and Shandong,while purchasing rates for southern japonicus brandssuch as Guangdong,Zhejiang,and Fujian are lower;2.There are hidden dangers inthe results of the survey on food safety during the COVID-19,most consumers do nottrust online food,making the number of people who buy Sea Cucumber OnlineLimited;3.Some consumers still think that the product is not transparent;4.seacucumber flavor slightly inadequate,preservation process and preservation methodsare not good;5.the quality of sea cucumber is general,there are deficiencies in thebreeding process.In view of this,the author thinks that in the future,the operators ofsea cucumber should increase their efforts to improve the cultivation mode andpreservation mode of sea cucumber online,at the same time,we should increase thepromotion of Ningde Sea cucumber,increase the online product multi-directionaldisplay channels (such as Live broadcast),popularize the safety of sea cucumberproducts,and further develop the online sales platform.Keywords:COVID-19;Stichopus japonicus;questionnaire;online;offline;Ningde
