Machine tool fixtures library management system based on thedescription of assembly knowledgeDiscipline:Mechanical Manufacturing and AutomationStudent Signature:Supervisor Signature:AbstractMachine tool fixtures are widely used in mechanical processing,and play an importantrole in ensuring the accuracy of processing,improving productivity,reducing labor intensityand expanding the scope of machine tools technology.In modern society,competition betweenmanufacturing enterprises is getting more and more fierce.With the CAD /CAM technology isapplicated widely and developed rapidly,the developing direction of machine tool fixturesdesign also inevitably towards to intelligence,integration and standardization.The maincontents are as follows:1)The first chapter introduces the background,purpose and significance of the subject,andexpounds the research status of machine tool fixture library in domestic and abroad.Emphasizethe importance and necessity of establishing the assembly library.2)First of all,this chapter describes machine tool fixture in detail.Secondly,based on theGroup Technology,the structure,function and process characteristics are analyzed andsummarized.According to the classification results,the classification and coding system isconstructed.With SolidWorks as the platform,using the top-down design method as well as theassembly tree structure to establish 3D models for machine tool fixtures.3)This chapter introduces the definition and basic concept firstly.And then,describesassembly model with two kinds of expression methods:hierarchical modal and relational model.At last,analyzes the assembly relation,and summarizes several relations that are commonlyused in the constructional process.Besides that,collects the knowledge of models in machinetool fixtures library management system,gives out the description method of the assemblyknowledge in ACCESS database,and their connection style.4)This chapter describes the demanding analysis of the machine tool fixtures librarymanagement system,describes the developing steps of the system,proposes the overall plan ofsoftware structure.The focus is the physical design of the system database,the tables created inACCESS are linked each other,which is in order to prepare for the design and achievement of
