ABSTRACTAt present, the safety accidents related to human factors account for a largeproportion of chemical fire and fire explosion accidents in China. The human factor isone of the important reasons for the high incidence of chemical fire accidents in China. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the classification of human factors inchemical fire safety accidents to reduce the incidence of chemical fire and explosionaccidents in China. In order to study the main human factors of fire and explosion accidents causedby fire in chemical enterprises, the human factor Analysis and Classification System(HFACS)model was established based on 72 fire and explosion accidents as samples, and the classification statistics and analysis of human factors of fire and explosionaccidents were conducted.Chi-square test and odds ratio were used to analyze thecausal relationship between levels of HFACS model. The results show that the lack ofthe organizational level of the safety management system is mainly reflected in thepoor organizational atmosphere and no discovery of corrective problems;Poor mentalstate is the main factor leading to unsafe behavior.Unsafe behavior is mainly reflectedin skill error and habitual violation.According to the HFACS model, the key path ofthe accident and the main forms of human factors, put forward targeted measures toprevent fire and explosion accidents in chemical enterprises.Key words:chemical fire;fire and explosion accidents;human factor analysisand classification system(hfacs);human factors
