2016ABSTRACTWireless ad hoc networks is a multi-hop peer,self-healing wireless network withoutcentral control node,which is widely used in people's production and life.Amongthem,the performance of the media access control (MAC)protocol largely affectsperformance of wireless networks.Traditional wireless ad hoc networks usesingle-channel MAC protocol,in which packet collision probability is great andnetwork throughput is low.With the rapid development of communications andcomputer industries,more and more frequency opens up,which highlights theshortcomings of poor performance of single-channel MAC protocol and channelwasted.So multi-channel MAC protocol quickly becomes a hot topic.On the basis of in-depth study of existing MAC protocol,This paper designs andimplements a multi-channel MAC protocol wireless ad hoc network(CN-MMAC,multi-channel MAC protocol based on channel negotiation)based channel negotiation.The main idea of the protocol is:Control channels and data channels areseparated and each node maintains a list of channels which are used.The nodecompletes channel reservation on the control channel signal through broadcastmessage and the handshake signal.Data packet transmission is completed on datachannel reservatied successly.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.The design of multi-channel MAC protocol:This paper analyzes the existing MACprotocol from the basic concept of wireless ad hoc networks and indicates the currentissues that exist.Design a wireless ad hoc network based on channel negotiation ofmulti-channel MAC protocol (CN-MMAC protocol),specifically address thefollowing issues:the assignment of channels,the hidden terminal problem ofmulti-channel and control overhead problem.2.Performance research of multi-channel MAC protocol:Modify the simulationmodel using NS-2 simulation tools and add multi-channel MAC protocol.This paperanalyzes the performance of other protocols and proves that multi-channel MAC最新
