AbstractPlaning plank can be used for patrol boats,fishing boats,ambulance boats,yachts andsports boats.Its weight is mainly supported by the load of water pressure when itglides at a high speed,and its hydrodynamic characteristics are significantly differentfrom those of conventional displacement ships (boats).It is very important forimproving the dynamic stability of the glider to calculate the characteristics of theresistance force and discuss the ability to maintain the stability and speed in waves.In this paper,the basic performance of the speedboat is discussed,and the influence ofthe architectural form of each ship on the movement characteristics of the speedboatis analyzed.Maxsurf software was used to discuss the forces in the actual fluid,so asto obtain a more reasonable building form (shape of sliding surface)for ships.On thebasis of the model,the characteristics of the impeding force under the action of wavesare explored,and the characteristics of various navigational properties are obtained.Since the normal working condition of the speedboat is that it moves very fast,thispaper focuses on exploring its movement in complex sea conditions when sailing at avery fast speed,so as to discuss the influence of the building form of the ship on itsability to maintain stability and speed in waves.For example,in a specific speed,thewave Angle is limited to explore the shape of each wave,the impact of wave speed onthe ship.Keywords:glider,highspeed,maxsurf,seakeeping
