AbstractSilver-based solder metal is one of the most representative brazing materials in theworld,It has the advantages of low melting point,good chemical stability and good corrosionresistance.It has a wide range of applications in low carbon steel,stainless steel,copper andcopper alloys,and superalloy welding.In this paper,HL303 was used to test the brazingprocess of 304 austenitic stainless steel.Test methods such as SEM,EDS,and tensile testingare used,The influence of different brazing process parameters on the microstructure andmechanical properties of 304 stainless steel brazing joint was studied.The optimal processparameters selected according to the orthogonal experimental design are:The holding time is50min,the heating temperature is 780C,and the shear resistance of the brazing joint reachesup to 30.04KN;With the increase of holding time,the mechanical properties of the brazingjoint show a trend of first increasing and then decreasing;The brazing microstructure iscomposed of copper-based solid solution,silver-based solid solution and eutectic structure,and the brazing metal has a good metallurgical combination with the base metal under theaction of capillary during brazing;The tensile fracture of the brazing joint obtained by theoptimal parameters is distributed with uniform tenacity sockets,which shows typical ductilefracture characteristics.Key Words:Ag-based Filler Metal;Austenitic Stainless Steel;Brazing Joints;Mechanical Properties;Microscopic StructureThesis Type:Engineering Design
