Design of Indoor EnvironmentMonitor ing Instrument Based onMicrocontrol lerAbstract This system can conduct comprehensive,real-time,and long-term monitoring ofindoor temperature,humidity,combustible gases,and other combustible gases,therebyachieving the goal of automatic and intelligent monitoring of indoor temperature,humidity,combustible gases,and other combustible gases.The system is based on a microcontroller asthe core,with temperature and humidity sensors and gas sensors as the testing units.Themicrocontroller is connected to the intelligent sensor to collect and store the testing data of theintelligent sensor,and then analyze and process it.The results are displayed on the LCD liquidcrystal screen.In addition,in the MCU system,functions such as exceeding limit alarms andassisting in data storage can also be completed.Firstly,the overall design of the system was carried out,clarifying the functions andtechnical indicators that the system should achieve,as well as the principles of system design;The second is the overall software and hardware design of each component:using static anddynamic characteristics analysis,using single bus technology to measure temperature andmoisture SHT11 temperature and moisture content measurement circuit and program design,using gas sensor MQ211 to achieve data collection circuit and program design;The third isthe alarm and button circuit and programming.This design detects and displays room temperature and humidity,and provides warningfor harmful gases such as CO and methane,providing an effective protection for people's lives,entertainment,and the environment of public places.Keywords:Single-chip microcomputer,STC89C52,SHT11,monitoring of temperature andhumidity,MQ211,indoor environment
