ABSTRACTHuman beings have entered the era of artificial intelligence,and artificial intelligencetechnology is not only applied to the furniture around us,but also promotes thedevelopment of intelligent and automated transportation fields.With the continuousdevelopment of new things and new technologies,the lag of laws and regulations hasbecome prominent,and when dealing with traffic accidents related to driverless cars,problems have also surfaced,such as the difficulty in determining the infringing party,theambiguity of causality and the difficulty in obtaining evidence,all of which have hinderedthe road to redress the rights of victims,and even further caused the public's prejudiceagainst the driverless car industry,hindering the development of the industry.This paperstarts with the grades,characteristics and legal background of driverless cars,andcomprehensively analyzes the legal difficulties faced by driverless cars after application.The purpose of this paper is to clarify the subject of tort liability,clarify the determinationof causal relationship,solve the problem of obtaining evidence,improve relevant laws andregulations,and strengthen exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad,so as to realizethe relief of the rights of victims in driverless car traffic accidents and promote thedevelopment of the driverless car industry.KEY WORD:Driverless cars;Tort Liability;Subject of Responsibility;evidence;causality3
